Civil or Religious Ceremony

Outdoor Weddings And Weddings In Unusual Places

Temporary Licenses

Even if the ceremony location you have in mind is a little out of the ordinary, the chances are you will find a way to put your plan into action. If you have your heart set on an outdoor ceremony in a beautiful garden, you can approach a celebrant to ask if he would be willing to conduct the ceremony. Alternatively you can find a venue whose garden area is licensed for civil ceremonies or, if the venue does not currently have a license, you can apply for 'temporary approval' for a civil marriage. This would be necessary if you wanted the ceremony in your own home, or on a hillside that has a special meaning for you. Be sure to allow for extra time and money for the temporary approval process.
